Cell Phones Are Feminizing Men

androgenyFebruary 2009 I interviewed Dr. Nader Salama about the effects of cellular telephone radiation and sperm motility. It appears that as little as 8 hours of exposure in the standby mode reduced sperm motility by close to 90%. This would clearly cause an infertility problem. Its estimated that over seven million cases of infertility are reported each year and over one third of those are due to the male having poor sperm health.

At that time I asked Dr. Salama if there was any evidence that exposure also lowered testosterone. His group did not look at this at that time. Well a group led by Dr. Sultan Meo at the College of Medicine, King Saud University have now shown that exposure to cellular telephone radiation lowers serum testosterone levels significantly.

Dr. Meo's group took 34 Wistar rats and separated them into three groups. One group of 6 rats stood as the control. Another group of 14 rats were exposed to cellular radiation for 30 minutes a day. The third group of 14 rats were exposed for 60 minutes a day. The study lasted three months and at the end of the three months blood samples were collected.

While both test groups had a drop in testosterone, the group exposed for 60 minutes a day had a significant drop in testosterone. In my humble opinion this shows a dose dependant effect and leads me to believe that the more exposure the greater the drop.

I see lots of guys slipping their cell phones in their front pockets. Cell phones are constantly transmitting. Constantly. Most carry their cell phones for much more than 60 minutes a day. The rate of infertility is always rising. The rate of young men being hypogonadal is also rising. Men are being bombarded with xenoestrogens, phytoestrogens, anti-androgens and other agents that are feminizing today's male of the species. Cell phone are part of the problem.

Testosterone is the primary male hormone and responsible for all things male.

I don't carry my cell phone any longer. Not for about the past 6 months now. It makes some people mad when I don't answer EVERY time they call.  I carried mine in my back right pocket for about 3 months and wound up with a suspicious case of tendinitis in my piriformis muscle that caused a Sciatic condition - right where the phone was positioned in my back pocket. Coincidence? I personally don't think so. Cell phone radiation causes advanced oxidative stress.

Turn your phone off when its in your pocket. Unless you're a surgeon and an organ transplant surgery is waiting for you, you can probably miss a call here and there. Women - keep your phone in your purse. Leave your phone on your desk or the table away from you. And for Pete's sake NEVER sleep with your phone in the on position anywhere near your head.

Years from now we'll realize just what the effects are of having our own personal radiation device with us 24/7.
