I lost my sister Valerie to PD several years ago. I still maintain that she was misdiagnosed and thus mistreated. I do acknowledge that she had a neuro-muscular disorder, but being treated with dopamine agonists burned out her brain. She did not have any tremor at the onset of the disease. Only symptoms she had was weakness in her right leg and depression. Yet she was diagnosed with PD and drugs to treat PD were prescribed.
