More Bad News For Women: Glyphosate Contamination Found In Tampons

A team of Argentine researchers have discovered glyphosate (Roundup by Monsanto) present in 85% of cotton containing personal care and feminine hygiene products. Even if you strive to avoid glyphosate - an herbicide deemed by the World Heath Organization as a probable carcinogen - by eating exclusively organic foods you may still be exposed to it unknowingly. Researchers Dr. Damien Marino of the University of La Plata wrote in their paper "85 percent of all samples tested positive for glyphosate and AMPA 62 percent, which is the environmental metabolite, but in the case of cotton and gauze the figure was one hundred percent" This is horrible news to say the least. Many of the items tested were labeled as sterilized and suitable for application on wounds which would give the glyphosate direct entry to the blood stream. In the case of tampons, the exposure would be even greater. Compounded by the...

More Damning News For Statin Drugs

If you're unfortunate enough to be prescribed and taking a statin drug you need to read this and then do some real soul searching. You have to have the courage to make a decision that your physician may not like. To find a safe way to get yourself off of statin drugs once and for all. The evidence of the dangers of statin drugs continues to mount. While the debate over the efficacy of statin drugs to reducing the rate of first and second heart attacks have come under fire in recent years, the mounting negative effects on other physiological systems continues to mount. Regular statin drugs used as prescribed is linked to dementia, muscle wasting, and muscle pain. Diabetes, cataracts, liver dysfunction, fatigue and now add advanced aging. In a recent study[1] published in the Journal of The American Physiological Society scientist discovered an unintended effect of statin drugs that...

CDC Whistleblower Exposes Higher Vaccine-Related Autism Risks in African Americans Prompts Open Letter From Bobby Kennedy Jr.

CDC Whistleblower Exposes Higher Vaccine-Related Autism Risks in African Americans Prompts Open Letter From Bobby Kennedy Jr.

Last August, CDC senior scientist, Dr. William Thompson, invoked federal whistleblower status and confessed that the CDC has known since 2001 that black boys exposed to the MMR vaccine have a disproportionate risk of autism. Thompson, a 17 year CDC veteran is the author of some of the leading studies cited by CDC to exculpate vaccines from the autism epidemic. Thompson, who still works at CDC, released the raw data sets that he says his bosses at CDC ordered him to conceal. Those data show that black boys who received the MMR vaccine prior to three years old, as the CDC recommends – were 3.36 times more likely to receive an autism diagnosis than those who received the vaccine after 3 years of age. This effect was not observed in other race categories. Nevertheless, when the CDC scientists published their results in Pediatrics in 2004, they omitted the damaging data, fraudulently...

Could the Therapy For Atherosclerosis and Heart Attack Come With a Tan?

Could the Therapy For Atherosclerosis and Heart Attack Come With a Tan?

Heart Disease is the leading cause of death in America. The sun-tanning peptide Melanotan II may be the next big drug therapy breakthrough to fight Atherosclerosis, Heart Attack and Chronic Inflammation  Activation of the Melanocortin system appears to help reduce inflammation in arteries and blood vessels that influences the buildup of plaques and stiffness one study showed. When mice prone to developing Atherosclerosis were give Melanotan II for 4 weeks the therapy showed a marked reduction in the buildup of new plaques and reduced systemic markers of inflammation as compared to controls which were given the vehicle only. While this study did not show a reduction in the size of existing plaque lesions it did also show enhanced endothelium-dependant relaxation and improved vascular sensitivity to nitric oxide's effects. Another study looked at the effects of Melanotan II on post-ischemic recovery of the heart after a myocardial infarction and showed some amazing...

Why You Want to Be Like These Dancing Mice

I don’t have time to write long articles, and you don’t have the time to read them. So, here’s the short story: More research shows that muscle mass improves longevity….Go figure. A group of scientist at the University of Michigan Medical School looked at the role of myostatin in longevity since other epidemiological studies have shown that there is a “positive correlation between skeletal muscle mass and longevity” and myostatin is a negative regulator of muscle mass. The more myostatin you produce the less muscle you will be able to build and maintain. I assume most people have heard of myostatin but just in case you haven’t here is an over simplified explanation.  Myostatin was discovered in 1997 by Dr. Se-Jin Lee at Johns Hopkins University. It is a protein peptide produced by the body whose sole job is to keep muscle mass in check. The way growth hormone is protein...
